Deflection ratings?

The standard reference for deflection ratings seems to be the now-defunct Platinum Billiards one, but there may be a possible problem with it--were shaft sizes standardized? For instance, it would hardly be fair to compare a 13mm Meucci black dot with a 11.75mm OB-2, because of end mass differences.

Is anyone else doing a similar study?

Those stats never were fair - IMO. Things like: tip shape and shaft diameter need to be constant for an accurate representation. Also, divulging of testing method must be required.
