just a note: I was at valley forge a couple of years ago and Bob Meucci had his robot there showing deflection and asking people to test there shafts against his. when I went up to him and gave him mine and was asked whose cue it was, his answer to me was "no".

Searing play

But what is it about the way the Searing cues hit that makes them superior? Specifically, what qualities do the Searings have that the others don't, or what do the others have that you don't like?

I have had 5 searings and have a few thoughts about why they play well. The joint on searing cues are very tight and he has very close tolerances so it makes the cue feel like a one piece cue.Also his shafts are very well known for there low deflection like mentioned so when you put the 2 together they just feel like they hit better than cues your use to playing. Even if you can just get one of his shafts that fit your cue you will be happy.

I don't believe I said when he started or how long he's been making cues, If I could remember when the BCA trade show in Orlando was I'd be able to give you exact time frame for my story, I'm senile and can't.

is that right? he said when he first started..... 2 yrs..... + 5yrs.....=7yrs.

You're wrong just for your meaningless post, if you want to add to this by sharing your own dealings with the man go right ahead, if you want to cross examine me then go screw (in a nice not mean way ) My story is true, I'll stick behind it 100% and you can feel free to call and ask Dennis about it, but since he won't answer your call I won't wait to hear what he says.

You are correct. I would rather be doing other things than sitting here working, however, people rely on me doing my job, so I rarely get to do the other things. I do my job and deliver on time.

Well I wonder how popular his cues would be now if Miz hadn't supplied a glowing review in a magazine not long ago.. but I guess the same could be asked about Cantalanado, I remember seeing some of his cues rotting on a website before BSzam came out with the I taught him some things..

So much talk about Dennis and his cues.Let me say that he is an upright gentlemen who I have alot of repect for and belive he is getting bad flak from alot of people.Dennis's cues in my opinion are the best playing cues made today bar none.I have had Herceks,Schicks,Tascarellas,Josswest,Black,Scruggs,Phillippi,Showman,Haley,Taylor,Ginacue,Southwest,Bender,Mottey,White,Cantando,Samsara,I am not saying bad things of these makers and their works but just feel Searings are better playing cues.If I had to rank my top three it would be Searing,Showman,Haley.Dennis does great work and does not rush the product.I am including pictures of the Searings in my collection to view.No insults to anyone mentioned above just my personal oppinion.Thanks,Bill.
