....... I play a good shortstop speed...... It takes me and my opponet atleast 12 to 10 mins to play agame of 9-ball and 12 to 15 mins to play a game of 10-ball. I just want to see what others think of delibrate players and what other delibrate players think. ty professor
If you are genuinely shortstop speed and have recorded that you are taking 12/15 minutes to play a frame of 9 ball on average I don't think it means you are a deliberate or slow player.......it means you either buy cheap knock-off watches or you are clinically comatose.
A shot-clock would be no use for you, better a shot-calendar

Some people can see all options and calculate their percentages faster than others, that's understood and I'm not sure it's actually something that can ever be that effectively learned. You either have the ability to do that quickly or you don't.
As regards actually executing the shot after it's been chosen there is absolutely no acceptable reason for the huge time difference between the medium paced guys and the slowest guys.
Personally I see no reason for any shot in any game to need more than absolute maximum 40 seconds for a really difficult position and 90% of shots should be able to be selected and executed within a total of about 20/25 seconds max.
Slow players do my brain in....even on the golf course
