I've got an older cue with white Delrin butt. The small engraved lettering is faint & I'd like to refill the letters. Will Delrin easily stain from ink if any gets on the surrounding area? Any help is appreciated.
Delrin should not stain with any kind of ink I would think. I always used a black crayon rubbed vigorously over the engraving on some cues, and a green crayon on the McDermotts that had an engraved logo.
Get a fine Perma Pigma ink pen from the hobby store and color inside the logo. If you can't wipe the rest off if you get some on the outside just have your local guy use really fine sandpaper to polish it off on his lathe.
