Delrin used for mid-cue extension?

Have any of you used mid-cue extensions made of delrin?

How would it compare to an extension made of ebony or dymalux (diamond wood) as far as stiffness?

I like a stiff hit in a cue and I have used some mid-cue extensions that seem to soften the hit and some that did not but I have never used one made of delrin.

Thanks,

Rake

BTW, the extension would be ~3" to ~4" long. Radial pin and used with a Revo 12.4 with a hard tip.

I don't think you would like the hit or the added weight of the delrin.
