used it for a few minutes, went to use it again later and nothing
checked plugs, breakers and all that, still nothing
there is also a circuit breaker on saw
any thoughts of what's going on??????????

added: come to think of it
i've gone thru 3 or 4 switches on my crappy ass delta wood lathe
i'll check that today

I had the wire come loose from the circuit breaker on mine before. I had to take it apart and resolider it.
I would just disassemble the switch and lick the terminals like a 9v battery. But, make sure you are standing in water first. LOL. DISCLAIMER.... DO NOT ATTEMPT!!!
Brent call me if you can't get it going. Chris.

i took out switch and circuit breaker
rigged up a "by pass"
still nothing
just to make sure i took switch and breaker to pro tool, local delta rep
they tested both and they are working ok
so, he said it's either brushes or fried motor
i'm going on record, IF IT IS THE MOTOR< to say, i will never buy any delta tool again
i went thru nine miles of crap already with delta over thier chinese made motors, that the local delta rep told me he will not touch
i hope it's just brushes !!!

Just to check, is there a reset button on the motor itself? Sometimes they get hot and need reset! Might check that one. Safer than licking it! LOL

That would probably be the breakdown on cost. Or maybe $18 parts and $50 minimum labor charge.
