This lathe is actually a little better he is telling you. It already has the spring loaded cross-slide set up with large handwheel. The cabinet is there and this machine will only cost $325 to $350 to put taper bars on it. So this is not the standard $1995 basic Deluxe. It is the $2995 package number one Deluxe with the taper bars removed. If you need the power feed that would be $175 then you should have the full package one.
