Just finished this one up for Nate who is a local player.
The forearm and butt sleeve are Caxnan Negro Burl which is VERY rare and beautiful. In fact, these are the only cue size pieces I have seen. This burl comes from Australia. Wish I had more of this burl.
The handle is Box Elder which has been "cue specific" stabilized by me. The handle rings are also Caxnan burl.
The shafts are Oak and Maple w/MicartaH ferrules and Ultra Skin tips.
All joints and the Hoppe ring are Juma.
The forward balanced, natural weighted cue weighs just a tad under 19 ounces.
