Here is a "preview" of a new series of break cue I am now building.
The "MERLIN" break cues are offered with three different woods, all having the same "HIT" but different natural weights. The top cue shows how the "MERLIN" full length butt with intergrated handle is machined. The purple heart and BE maple butt weighs 15.0 oz, the Goncalvo Alves weighs 12.3 oz's and the Cumaru weighs 14.7 oz's. Pro taper PH shafts weigh between 4.0 and 5.0 oz's and the Euro taper weighs between 4.5 and 5.5 oz's. You can pick your final weight, which will be a natural weight. Just about any combination of forearm/butt sleeve wood is available. Your choice of shaft and taper: Purple Heart, Oak or Maple. The price for most "MERLIN" series cues is $295.00.

Denali "Merlin" olive & ph breaker

Here is a pic of a "MERLIN" breaker I am working on for John up in Oregon.
If you want a little more hit, response and accuracy from your breaker a
"MERLIN" might just be the break cue for you. The tip will be a one piece phenolic tip/ferrule. This is a heavy weight cue weighing just over 22 ounces.

Denali cue "building blocks"

Hi Bob,

what is the difference between this Merlin serie and the other PJ-looking serie?

thanks,
Cuong.

I use 3 different "building blocks" or cores for my cues.
They are from top to bottom: Merlin, Pro and standard
Each has it's purpose depending on the job it is asked to perform, weight and
balance characteristics, and design aesthetics.
