Made this one for Jannie down under in Australia. It is what I call a "convertable" which means it can be used as a breaker or a player depending on which shaft you select. The full splice billet is cut so that the ebony runs all the way thru to the threaded butt cap. The handle sleeve is Camatillo Rosewood and the butt cap & joint are water buffalo.

The shaft(s) are PH with one having a G-10 ferrule and Samsara JB tip (13mm). The other has a Mason Micarta ferrule and Moori M tip (12.75mm).

Camatillo RW (sometimes called Mexican Kingwood) comes from southern Mexico and is now getting hard to find in decent pieces large enough for cues. Its tonal properties rank right up there with Brazilian RW. It needs to be thoroughly seasoned as it is usually air dried. Once seasoned it is very stable and smells terrific when cutting it.

Denali break cues

Just got some feed back from Jannie "down under".

"Hi Bob

I certainly have picked it up, and I do love every inch of it, thanks mate you are a genius, and have not had time to take it for a spin yet, or to contact you, sorry but this last week was just hectic.
Anyway back to the cue, the purple hart in the butt and the forearm is amazing and the colour is just awesome, is that a better quality purple hart, because I love it.
Thanks again Bob, its pretty amazing and the joint protectors you made is just as nice, its all praise at the moment because I am very happy with it and can't wait to have a shot with it.
Thanks so much again, very much appreciated and in the words of my Dad "You are a gun"

Cheers
Jannie"
