Denali Sapele/Dragon Skin & Elk

Here are pics of the first spec cue that I have made in awhile.
The full length core is PurpleHeart and the forearm and butt sleeve
are HF Sapele. Joint sleeve and butt cap are Elk. Pin is SS 3/8-10. The Dragon Skin is derived from Dutch metal, silver and copper gilding with a patina on a 3-color Japan paint base. The butt weighs 15.8 oz and a shaft can be made to order.

Dragon skin handle

Interesting cue. Does the handle have a texture to it or, is it smooth?

This one is smooth. It can be made to be textured, actually I would say pebbly like a football.
