I first met Dennis Dieckman at the Super Billiards Expo when Professor-Q-Ball held the Champion of Champions event. Yes, the Professor was ahead of McCreery on that one... but that's another story.
Some years later Dennis visited Houston and looked me up! We played down at one of the local 3-cushion rooms a couple of times. He showed me how to calculate a ticky. Thank you Dennis.
As the years went on we crossed paths only a few times... he'd call occasionally to rail about one of his pet ideas... like billards for juniors (a great idea) or how to change the USBA.
I was thinking about Dennis while working on my web site, so I went searching for some info on the internet. Along the way I put together a very brief story and picture gallery which is now posted on 3cushionbilliards.com.
