Dennis Searing early house conversion

Why buy a cue just to sell it. If you want to buy something to make money with try cars or houses or comodities. Get away from cues.

Oh ... you made me spill my coffee ... above statement coming from a guy who's got 44 iTrader feedbacks.

I don't sell to make money.

Usually break even. Try to keep a cue here and there. Usually sell to upgrade. Buy alot of cues back a few times. That way everyone else can upgrade too. Everyone seems to enjoy being treated like this.
When you see me relisting cues especially the Tim Scruggs cues it is because the last guy that had the cue wanted to upgrade to a bigger Scruggs that I had. Just about every time I put a custom on someone they upgraded. Helped alot of people out. Almost everyone started with a sneakie. After that once they had a custom they wanted a veneer cue then a Ivory joint veneer cue.
I am positave that cues for me has always been a losing propision to break even. But it is a harmless hobbie!
Later Ho,
Nick :)

A conversion Searing is worth way more than $1,100...I wonder why it was sold so cheap? Someone got a great deal...I've sold conversions for well over $3000...but they had more than one shaft...

I've also had a Searing cue with this style of piloted phenolic joint...I wish I had seen it sooner...snooze you lose I guess...

yeah mine won't be sold for less than 2500.... that is a hell of a deal...

Please stop your pettiness

Nick,

I tried not to care about your remarks, but I think you are throwing personal attacks on people who are selling cues. I don't buy and sell for a living. I also don't give a rats a$$ why you are buying and selling cues. Don't worry about why I am selling the cue. I assure you I didn't sell because I needed the money. Going forward if you are not adding to a thread that I start please don't post in it.

The cue was sold as a early House Conversion... I never said Searing Made the blank... but I do consider it a Searing Cue. If you want to debate what defines a custom cue or if it can be considered a "XXX" cue do a search. The topic is old and long - opinions vary!

And to all others who say I gave the cue away... call up Dennis and get a price on a refinish and a extra shaft and then wait to get it back. I was honestly afraid to send it to Dennis because he might cut the cue in half because it would never leave his shop these days considering he is such a perfectionist. Imagine that!!!!

All the best to the buyer.. hope you enjoy the cue.

Regards,

Sanjay

I think you sold a great cue

Alot of people would love to have it. I know Dennis hates to see his cue resold. He likes whoever buys his cue to keep his cue and you have done so for a long time.
If I bought it I would have just sold it. I have been on his list forever. We talk. I was 25 on his list 3 or 4 years ago. So I should be down to 18 or so by now. Hay that is only a 4 or 5 year wait.
When I get a Searing it will be from Mr Dennis. It will be made to my specs and not fancy at all. It won't be sold.
Don't hate on me. I am the only one that didn't take advantage here.
I did almost buy the cue for Highrun 526 but I just would have been stealing. Just so you know when I get a cue for a good price I usually always get back with the seller.
If I had bought your cue you would have gotten a biscuit. I would have thanked you for buying me and my wife a steak and maybe pocked $70.
But I offend the piss out of everyone-that is that don't know better,
Sorry to see you sell your cue,
Nick :)
