Dennis Searing matching set with jump/break

***********CUES ARE SOLD***********

Dennis made these cues for me on 5/23/02 and they are the only matching pair of Searing cues on the planet. Cue #1 is the playing cue and has a stack leather wrap done by Tiger in Vegas while Dennis and I were there playing a tournament. Both cues have 4 cocobolo points and cocobolo butt caps with ivory star inlays in the butt, points and joint collars. All (5) shafts have cocobolo joint collars with ivory star inlays. Both cues have ivory rambo rings on the butt collars. (2) shafts have ivory ferules with kamui tips. (1) shaft has ivorine 3 ferule with phenolic tip. (1) shaft was designed by dennis for breaking and jumping. It's heavier and has a ferule similar to the sledgehammer. (1) shaft is an OB-1 I ordered as a blank and Dennis fitted the matching collars for me. Cue #2 is a jump-break with no wrap and a quick release joint in the handle. Both cues have the 1/2 steel joints. If you are interested, I will e-mail you photos. I have 26 photos available. I am a very close personal friend of Dennis. Only reasonable offers will be considered and I will not split the pair.

Go to photobucket.com and open an account and upload your pictures, its free, then give the link to the pictures in your post. You just have to make sure the size of your pictures isn't too big for photobucket. Look forward to seeing them.

detailed instructions for photobucket.com

go to photobucket.com and just register for free, upload the pics you want to post to your "album" that you create, choose (check mark) which uploaded pics you want to use for the post and at the bottom of the screen check mark "generate html and img code". scroll down to where it says "IMG images for message boards" hi-lite all in the box and copy ( after hi-liting hold down the Ctrl key and press the C key ). then just put your cursor in the AZ posting box under your text and paste ( hold down the Ctrl key and press the V key ). this will paste the generated code into your post so the pics will show up under the text or actually anywhere you put them. preview your post to make sure it looks good then send your post. i've found this to be the best way to show pics since the size limits are much more relaxed and there's no picture limit.

WOW>>>> Thanks for the info. I put the new pics on the 1st page of the thread.

Wow. I'm going to bump this. Those cues are really stunning...

I wish I had money burning a hole in my pocket

This is the only matching pair Dennis ever made and he has no plans in the near future for another pair. The jump-break is also only about one of maybe twenty he made that wasn't a bar cue conversion. I've played with this set for well over four years and the hit is incredible. A similar cue with two shafts and phenolic collars sold for $5,000.00. My set has five matching shafts with inlayed wood collars. After consulting with Dennis, this price is not out of line for what I'm offering. Thanks, Paul

A cue is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If you get $10,000 for those 2 cues then your price is not out of line. You can ask whatever you want for a cue since there is no concrete guide to cue pricing that I know of. Some people go to the Blue Book of Pool cues to try and come up with a price, but that's not an exact price guide IMO. Supply, demand, and what someone will pay dictates cue prices and your cues are not available often, but I think your price is a little high for me.

Phil, I was wondering what happened to you. We haven't talked in a couple of years. Call Dennis for my number and we'll talk. Paul

Wouldn't it be easier if you just gave Phil your number through e-mail or PM instead?
I'm just confused about the runaround needing to go through Dennis before getting your number?
