Does anybody know the density of Aegis II ferrule material?

F. e. the elforyn material (Juma) has a density of 1,57 gramms per cubiccentimeter.

Thanks

I don't know the density of Aegis, but there was a thread recently about ferrule hardness, which had many different types of ferrules listed. That info may he helpful to you.

By the way, Juma and Elforyn are different materials.

I had searched before I posted this new thread but didn't find anything. Juma and elforyn are not exactly the same, but they are - as far as I know - pretty similar and the elforyn is mainly optically different. As far as I know the density of both are the same. But I only wanted to give an example which value I'm interested in.

If it's a problem re-posting this info let me know and I'll delete it!

If Elforyn has a density of 1.57 g/cc then – with reference to Bob Dzuricky’s Ferrule Weight List – Aegis II should have a density of ca. 1.60 g/cc.

Providing that my math does not bail on me.

Yes, I would calculate the same way. Interesting material, the Aegis II has a very nice sound to me. Although it is harder it is just a bit heavier.
