Pool School

I got to have my pool school with Mr. Basavich Monday at JR pockets. He worked with us on twelve shots that come up regularly in pool games. He is very down to earth did not have a bad word to say about anyone. I was amazed at how much we covered and yet was able to take more than 5-10 attempts or more per set shot. If one of us used a different technic to pocket the ball other than the one he demonstrated, he would show us the pros and cons but not shoot down the idea of what felt comfertable.
Gave praise and much encouragment. Did not push his form, stance or even open vs. closed bridge on these twelve shots.
I have never been one to want to practice, but these 12 shots make it more of a game, guess I have found a way to practice.
If you get a chance he will be back at JRs today at 2:00, I hope the weather holds off

Thanks again to Danny Bassavich, Ron Canterberry and JR. Pockets

your post says paid by 17th at 11:30 am, do you mean 21st
Yes the deadline for entries is 11:30 day of each tournament unless we have 32 pre registered then you must get here and be paid in by 11:30 am

If you are here by 11:30 and paid then you will get to play
Thankyou

Over 32

Samiel said:
Will you go above 32 if say 64 people get there before 11:30am? :p
Howdy, the 32 cut off is so that I do not have some players show up that are unknowns ie: road players, pros and such, that try to sneak in under their ranking or an assumed name. Also it it is easier to let a player know whether or not they qualify to play prior to them travelling to the tournament. If we have 32 pre registered, we will go over that if the additional players are physically at JR Pockets and paid prior to 11:30 am. If you are not on the first 32 list when you show up make a bee line to the TD "me" and get paid and registered. This greatly aids in keeping this a one day event.
Thankyou for your questions

hey Kennan its Nash. I asked you before do you think you can put a leather wrap on a cue for me if I get the blank.
Depending on the # of players , I am sure I can get it set up and finished on Saturday, or if you bring it by the Thursday JR Pocket tourny I can have it ready for you Saturday.
Later Kennan
