JR Pockets monthly tournament.

Schedual for 2009 next four monthly tournaments

March 21th
April 18th
May 16th
June 20th U.S. Open Qualifier event, is an open event

Please call to see if you qualify.

To "GET ON THE LIST" you must call prior to the days event. You must be present at 11:30am PAID OR NOT or any "stand-by" players will be awarded your spot. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you pay ahead and can't make it by 11:30am and you lose your place to a stand by, you WILL get a full refund.


$30.00 goes to player pay out, $8.00 goes to registration and greens fee
$2.00 goes to the end of the year tournament payout. Will post a running total to be added to the last tournament of the year December 19th. To play in the final event of the year, you must have played in at least 4 events in 2009.

Running total 144.00 to be added to end of season event

$400.00 added with a 32 player field.

Man captain K, im gonna miss this one too. I will be at my girls parents in louisiana this weekend. i will definitely make next months. I will see you tue though, I need a new tip possibly.

I won't be able to make this one either, we have the end of the season team tournament that day at the Billiard Den.

Take exit #465B/FT WORTH DR (US-377) onto N I-35E go 0.4 mi Turn Left on FORT WORTH DR(US-377 S) - go 0.3 mi

These are not be open events, if you are on the Pro list or have had a 4th or better finish in any open sactioned event in the past two years ,you may not qualify to play.
Opened sactioned events examples are the Fast Eddies 9-ball open, Canadian 9 ball tour, Midwest 9 Ball Tour, BCA Nationals ect.

Please call to see if you qualify, so as not to waste a drive to the tournament.

These events are mid level events, we do have 3 open events (anyone can play) this year, first one was in Feb next one is a US open qualifier in June

As far as not allowing players I do not like, it has no bearing your qualifications, your known tournament play, and known ability is what can keep you out of a mid-level event.

I have been playing around with the streaming, but for now no it will not be streammed, though results will be posted throughout the day has the tourny plays out.

Results

Well we had a good turn out for spring break witha total pay out of $1440.00

Quenton Hunneywell won the miny tourny

Juile Cominiti was the last lady ending Randi Smith's run of the past four tournamnets

Tom Smith ended up with 4th
TJ Lewis ran through the one loss side for a 3rd place finish
Ken Rogoway finally hit a money finish with, 2nd good shootin and thanks for the games
and
Gale Gladden (reigning Seniors Texas state Champion) continued with his great play this 2009 with a first place
finish.

46.00 added to Decembers tournament for a added total of 190.00


Thankyou to JR Pockets for the added money and the staff, got to meet a couple more AZers
Had an awesome time
See ya'll next Saturday for the Tony Sulzar benifit in Sherman
