I am traveling to Des Moines IA. I will be there late this afternoon. Any pool tournaments or Texas Holdem Tournaments there on a Friday Night?

I will be staying in West Des Moines.

Prairie Meadows has a good poker room(bad beat) with tournaments 4 or 5 nights a week. With that said, I think the money should be lost or won at BigDogs.
