Des Plaines / Chicago Pool Rooms?

Hi All,

I will be in the Des Plaines / Chicago / Rosemont area Sept 25th & 26th and attending a trade show at the Donald Stephens Convention Center. I am staying on River Road east of O'Hare.

Are there any pool rooms in this area?

I won't have a car so has to be relatively close if possible.

I don't know of any right there, but Chris's is about 6 miles east (toward Chicago) a few blocks off of US90 (the O'Hare/Chicago expressway). Should be less than 10 bucks for a taxi, and table time is cheap (lessons are more).

Craig, Actually there's another branch of Chris's Billiards right there in the suburb of Des Plaines where you are staying. It's a decent room, but no action or players - if you're looking for action, then you have to do as Pat said and go to the main Chris's Billiards in the city.
 
Thanks guys. That one very well may be walking distance, but not very far none the less. I will be there for 2 nights.. maybe I'll just have to visit both of them! :D
