I haven't seen any article about this past weekends tournament, so here are a few results. The format was 8 ball, using BCAPL rules. I posted this in the "tournament announcement" section, but thought some people don't visit that area. So here it is....
The tournament was held on 7ft. Diamond tables at Skip n Jans in Tempe (I beleive). This place is awesome, they have 12 9ft. tables and 12 7ft. tables. The lighting on the 7ft. could be a lil better, but I have played in worse conditions.

1st = John Smith
2nd = Mike Sandoval
3rd = Bret Huth
4th = Chuck Evans
5/6th= Chris Paradowski and Tres Kane

That's all I remember. I'm sure full results will be up in a while..

Grats to John Smith, he played awesome!!

side note: Tres Kane was on the winner side and could not play on Sunday due to prior commitments, so he never lost a match and got 5/6th.

The place is a very good room for tournaments on either the small or big tables as they play very well. The lights on all the tables could go up about 6 inches so you don't smack your head on them and the problem with the lighting on the small tables would be easy to fix with a brighter bulb replacement but the big tables are lit up good. Food there is nice and staff is pretty good, I hope there are more events there in the future because of the consistent play of the tables. :smile:

Thanks for the info

I went there on Sat. Great establishment and event. I also watched it on the internet. It would be nice if the DCT web site would up date daily and let you know what has happened.
