The Middle East produces a lot of engineering students per year.

Robotics is an emerging sport, the application of robotic technology is heavily used in disasters and areas of humanitarian aid.

Pool robotics is a great way to introduce science and engineering. Pool software is a great way to introduce programming.

It would help build the infrastructure for producing events and developing youth talent. In America it is very successful.

Are Middle Eastern investors able to deploy pool as a way to promote education and innovation?

Would a pool robotics league fall under the governance of the WPA?

The Americans pioneered pool robots. No other country has developed a robot to compete with the American model.

Another user posted a pool player robot video from 10 years ago.

Middle Eastern engineers could make something competitive in a few days.

If American investment into Pool Drone Robotics happens, then I endorse miniaturizing the pool balls and having remote control tanks act as pool cues. Tank warfare on a 4.5x9. Its now a Howitzer stroke.

Why else would a group of people build a pool robot?

Its looking for action.

Sensors and motor control technology is a product that could use sponsors in the Middle East.

Your machine gun spray of ideas finally might have grazed a target.

This would be a great activity for high schoolers or undergraduates.

When I was in high school I was on a regional-winning FIRST robotics team. Was it cool? Was it paradise by the dashboard light? Not really, it was pretty nerdy but I learned a tremendous amount including machine shop skills, programming, scheduling, working on an engineering team and competition anxiety. Stuff that helped me in life.

A pool playing robot is a unique challenge with a clear goal, something easy to grasp and work on.

For kids that are barely seventeen and completely dressed it is a fun idea.

A robot that does trickshots seems the most achievable. The calibration adjustments should be challenging enough before the event.

Best masse robot and Best remote control design would be categories fun to see.

Innovative statistical scoring system would be fun for the mathematics.

Higher order metric measurements for pool shots in a run out.

The Euros like presentations, itd be good to have a lecture contest portion.
