Detroit area pool halls

What are some of your favorite pool halls around Detroit? I used to frequent Ball and Cue in Lincoln Park and Electric Stick in Westland but both are gone. Well most are gone. I've been to Snookers in Livonia and The Rack in Livonia but looking for some more decent halls to checkout. Preferably clean well maintained tables if that's even a thing any more.

I wasw orried about them getting their liquor license. Has the clientele changed at all now that they sell it?
Clientele hasn’t changed that I know of. Snookers is still for sale if you’re interested🤣 I’ll be there this Monday. I usually have a waiting list of players looking for my money🤣

I didn't realize they were selling. Hope it stays a pool hall!

I was in the area for work several times, The Rack is the best one around. Place called Hall of Fame seemed to be known, but the ball sets are mismatched, the tables did not play well, and the prices were high. I was there twice, once I played on their Diamond 9 footer, which was OK, second time was on a gold crown which sucked, not clean, rails and pockets were not well done. I talked to a couple of regulars when I left after barely 45 minutes there and they had the same complaints.

Snookers was OK for the equipment, but it has a bad vibe at times, more like a night club for gangbangers than a pool hall. Had heavy security searching people who walked in, which is not a great sign of a place that does not get trouble. I was in there a few times, once for a tournament on a weekend day, during which time it was fine, then came back 6 months later, went there twice, both times it was just off, did not even get past the entrance once I saw the atmosphere.

Really if The Rack is close to where someone is, there is really no need to go anywhere else. Good tables, good players, good prices, the workers were friendly.
