Does anybody know if he continued to do this in the rest of the tournament or in future one pocket matches? How did he finish in this tournament?

It is amazing that he didn't sell out very often on this break.

He used to do that a lot, then proceeded to out move you and win .
Back before he got mad at the pool scene and the powers that been, he played a bit better imo.

iirc he continued to occasionally use it for a few years, maybe even into the '10:s. his kicking was also quite unortodox for the textbook one hole guys, great fun to watch and to hear a kinda shell shocked incardona comment on it. corey really is a genius, a brave and creative player that stands out among the rest. i admire people who dares to explore and experiment, in any field really.

in europe i have seen t-shirts saying "what would corey do?". that says something about his reputation in pool. i think he would have benefited from a less 9-ball centered pool scene though, but that's life.

I worked the repairs at that Tourney. Good memories and my introduction and addiction to one pocket. Corey didn't win but he had everyone stumped and talking about his break. I think Nick Varner won that event. Grady had some great events during his stay in Maine.
