Hope you don't mind a couple of questions in the thread, hadn't been active here in a while and would like to get back into it....might be others with the same questions....

How is it handicapped for new players to the tourney?

Are there usually open spots - any concerns about making the trip and not getting to play?

On the Wednesday night tourney, what is the starting time and is it every Wednesday?

Hey bud, go ahead and sign up Tim Balch along with Trey and myself please. And hey, I'm comin up the night before so, scope out a good place to eat. One of them all you'll let me eat joints. I think we can bet some even money on a shrimp eating contest or something. Like 5 bux for difference in shrimp eaten.:thumbup:

For new players we usually start you at an A+, which is middle of the road in the tournament. This still gives you 2 games on the wire against the strongest player that plays.(Chen)

As far as open spots, we have a limit at 32. We have yet to fill this tournament, but I think this coming year we will get there. You can call me the day before and get your name on the list, I will hold your spot open til the players meeting starts. If I don't hear from you I will give up your spot to someone waiting.

The weekly tournament is every week and starts shortly after eight. I cut off sign-ups at eight and then draw names.(no tournament on Christmas Eve)

I'll place a small wager on Doc. LOL. Glad you guys are going to make the trip Trey and Daniel. I think I met you guys at the Winstar tourney.
 
you might have met Daniel and Timmy, I wasn't around for that tourney but we might have met b4, I try to get out when I can. Oh yeah, you got action!
