Anyone planning on making this one? We had a really great turnout last month and hope to have a full bracket this time.

If im 18 do I need a parent or can I go by myself?

Steven,

The rules are the same as 6 months ago, and yes you do have to have a parent with you to play.

Are you 18 yet?
If so, I hope that you can make it.

I'm going to try to make this one Doc... especially if there are people looking for me! :p

I'm going to try to bring up TxOnePocket as well. Hopefully I won't have to play Jiayi345 again. I'm too cheesy against other Asians! :p

Big Doc....I won't be able to play in this one....but I was planning on stopping by for a little while. I was asked to bring a couple cues for some players to try out. I would love to get as much feedback as possible on them and I will be glad to let people try them out if you don't mind.

The cues I will have are full-splice w/veneers cues made by Paul Sumrall out of Lubbock, Tx. Here is one of the cues that I will have with me:

Paul Sumrall Full-Splice Cue

John: That's a hell of a cue!! Put me down on the list to hit a few balls with it.

I think I am going to come hang out this weekend with the Docster. I am still on the fence about playing, but we'll see.

I may need to borrow your cue Doc. :)

No problem, just don't be putting any dog in my cue, it already has enough of that.

See you soon.

John,

Don't mind at all, I too enjoy the fine art of cue building and would love to see it myself.

Good tourney Big D!! It was a tough field and everybody brought their A game.

For those of you that didn't go, there was a field of 25 players. Notables included: Chase Rudder, Daniel Herring, Crispian Ng, Robbie Smith, Doug Whinnet, Ron Canterbury, John R. and Fred aka Peanut Man. The monsters of Chen and Gordy weren't in town, but it was still a tough field.

1st: Robbie S.
2nd: Crispian "Singapore Sensation" Ng
3rd: Juan P
4th: Ron C
5/6: John R and Doug W.
