Are the cushions on a 9' Pro-am the same as on a 9' Professional?
I was on a 9' Pro-am and banked normal, but on a 9' Professional, the rail tracks were more like that of a carom table.

So long as the tables are similar vintage, the cushions are the same.
Around 2010, Diamond changed the rail profile slightly, which was a change across all tables. The labels on the head rail of the tables were then changed from red to blue, signifying the change in rail profile.
So, so long as the tables that your are referencing both had the same color label on the head rail, they should have the same cushions and the same rail profile. The difference in bank angle would be a result of cleanliness of the cloth and balls, the rail bolt torque, and the tension of the rail cloth.
