Diamond Pocket question

What is the distance from the back of the pocket to the drop of the shelf? In Inches.

What I am asking someone to do is take a tape measure, stick it in the pocket until the tape hits the back end of the pocket , and tell me how many inches it is to the end of the shelf that the ball rolls off of into the pocket. Center of pocket measurement please.

I hope this is understandable.
 
To answer your question, the distance from the drop off point in the corner pocket from the center of the slate shelf to the back of the pocket to the leather pocket liner is 5 inches.
