i live im middletown ny and im looking for a blue label diamond 1 piece slate pool table 9' perferably but if the price is right i would take a 8' or 7'. if anyone has one for sale let me now. thanks tom

I have been looking for a Diamond 9' Pro as well. What I have found is that the tables that make cense for me to follow up on are either too far away to pick up or in need of work. Both were priced in the 3-4 K price range. I can, as you can, buy a new table for not much more.

The way I see it is you can either wait it out for the right table that is priced right and close, or, just order one to your specs and be done with it.

Check out Ebay, there are a few nice used tables listed there.

I here you thats why i posted on here. i was on the phone with diamond this morning and it would cost around $6000 for a new table . they said 400 less for a tourny table. thats delivered and set up. im gonna wait a little while to see if i could get a used one a little cheaper. i have a connelly now so not in a rush but would love to have one. for the right price i would settle for a 7' or 8'. There is a diamond 9' pro not to far from me for $1900 if you want his number let me now. i would get it but i want a 1 piece slate.

Consider buying one after the next Turning Stone tournament. Not sure if your close to Verona NY...but if you are that would be a way to save a few bucks. I believe they do sell the tables after the completion of the tournament.

Diamond tables are ordered though the factory and dealers get a table and rails. The cloth, balls, cues, and, set up/delivery is on the dealer to provide. There is not much of a mark up over factory direct when you factor all of the added labor and accessories.

With a single piece of slate, I hope you live in a one story or the table is going to be on a first floor. Many movers won't touch the single slate unless it is easy access and no stairs. They still hit you with a premium either way.

Thanks for the offer and the price sounds good, but, it is still to far for me to consider it. I would have to take a few days off from work, arrange transportation and breakdown/set up fees.
