When did the Pro change the shape of the corner blocks to the squared off design of today's tables. Mine has large, rounded corners. Why was the change made?

The rounded corners are still available today on any of the Pro tables but not with the Dymondwood finish. Back in 2000, when Diamond started using the Dymondwood finish on the top rails, they decided that the Dymondwood was to hard of a material to work with to offer it on the rounded corner block design, so the squared off corner block was designed at that time.
