Diamond Table At Hard Times

I've heard that the AC is "broken". I'm not sure how long it's been that way, but they really need to get it fixed if they are going to be charging people $10/15 to sit and watch with only a few box fans going.

It's really a shame because it's one of the remaining great rooms in the country. There's another tournament there on 8/9 - 8/10 that I planned on attending, but will skip if it's going to be 90 degrees in there again.

I agree, too hot in there. I should have stayed home and watched it on the stream. But it was nice to see the players in person.

I was considering playing in Tad Cup again this year (8/2-8/3) as well as the Mezz West State Tour stop on 8/9-8/10, but I'm seriously considering not playing in those events because of the A/C situation. I heard it was 90 degrees in there yesterday. That's just ridiculous. I also heard Shane was invited to play (entry paid) but he declined so he could "rest" for Vegas. I'll bet he didn't want to play at Hard Times because it's too hot. If it is in fact broken, it's been broken for a while. The owner should step up to the plate and fix it or it's probably going to start costing him some business.

If it's not fixed in time for the August events, I think we'll have a good understanding of the direction of the room. I'd much rather contribute to the stream and sit in the comfort of my own home than sit in those conditions again.
