Diamond Tournament Light??

I am setting up an 8ft Brunswick Camden in my basement and need good lighting. I am looking at the Diamond florescent fixtures and they have 7ft and 9ft fixtures only. I like the size of the tournament (smaller) model, but wonder if it will adequately light an 8ft table (uses round florescent bulbs)?? The full sized model with (4) 6ft florescent bulbs seems that it would be fine, but more than I am willing to spend.

Does anyone have experience using either of these fixtures to light an 8ft table? I am particularly interested in feedback on the tournament fixture - but would appreciate any feedback you make have on the full size as well.

I have an oversized 8 ft table and the 9 ft Diamond Tournament light. It fits perfectly over my table and the diffusers spread the light out nicely. The 9 ft light would probably overhang a standard 8 ft table by a couple inches on each side. The 7 ft tournament light would probably work fine for you. You might need to raise it a few inches higher than the recommended height so you get complete coverage.
 
Or you can do as I & many others on this forum and have master woodworker Mark Mindel handmake you one custom...just as you want it....and cheaper. Nicer light & saves you money. I LOVE mine.
