Diamond work by Jerimy Chambers

This post isn't so much to Talk to a Mechanic as it is to Thank a Mechanic. Jerimy Chambers reworked my notoriously hoppy Diamond red-label rails and recovered my table. It's just beautiful, plays great, and Jerimy was also great to deal with. He's in Chicago. PM me if you need his number. Highly recommended.

The red label rails were hoppy?
How did he fix it ?
tnx

My rails were VERY hoppy, though I have a friend with a red label Diamond and his aren't. Diamond was aware of the problem and changed the angle of the rail rubber on their later tables.

I played on a Red label Diamond bar box about a week and a half ago, I forgot how fast they are compared to the Blues. At less than break speed I was able to go 6 1/2 times up and down the table, I am sure I could have gone at least 7 1/2 if I was not still healing from bruised/broken ribs.. I did notice the cue ball hopping after each rail contact until it slowed to around 1/2 speed but I do not notice this on all Reds.
