Hello,
First let me introduce myself. My name is Rich but here on the net I go by Puttnutt24. I live in Northern California and although I've been a member now for a few month's, I just became able to post. I find this forum very informative and I'd like to say thx to all that participate. Thanks.
My question is this. I was down in Vegas a couple months ago playing in the BCA Nationals and I totally fell in love with the Diamond tables. As soon as I returned home I posted my brand new 8' Olhausen Brentwood on Craig's list and within two weeks it was gone. I'm now in the market for a new 7' Diamond Pro Am and after a few phone call's to Diamond it seem's their not to interested in shipping me a brand new table. They've offered to sell me a tourney used table but as soon as I said I wasn't interested, that I would prefer a new table, I havn't heard a word since. What are my option's living this far from their factory to purchasing a Diamond Table? Thx for any help and I'm sorry for the long post, Rich

I would imagine

It is probably tough because they have so many 7ft tables they produce for the league tournaments and such. They probably have them all stored in various places and choose to sell those tables before making one brand new for a buyer. Really, the used tables are very nice and if you put some new cloth on them, you usually have a "like new" table for a nice price cut compared to a "brand new" table. I live close to New Albany and they told a guy I know the same thing. If you are set on getting a 7ft, you probably have to settle for a used one.

Bigtruck has them for sale on here. I am not sure how many he has left but it might be worth it to contact him. Good luck. BTW - there is nothing wrong with a used Diamond table :)

The only thing that go bad on a used pro am is the cloth. With the 1 inch slate and the Dyamond wood they will last forever, barring a tornado or an earthquake. I have 18 smart tables out on location and bought every one of them tournament used from diamond. Dont give it a second thought, buy the used one

I would buy a tournament used pro-am in a heartbeat if I had the money.

Thanks all. If thats about the only way i'm getting my hands on a Pro Am, so be it!
Hey, Bigtruck, where are yea? :)

I can bring you a Diamond from the factory on my way back to Vegas, then on to the Northwest. If you're set on a new 7ft ProAm, I'll see what I can do for you.

Glen, This is to good to be true. Would I be working directly with you, or Diamond? How do I get a hold of you? I'm very interested, more then just interested, done deal if we can make this happen. Rich Alexander
P.S. 50th birthday in a few weeks. This has my own present written all over it :)

Call Brian at Diamond, 812-288-7665 I just talked to him, they have new 7ft ProAms with Pro pockets in inventory right now. I can pick up the table while I'm at the factory and bring it with me, new lights are also available.

Just tell Brian I told you to call him, call him on his cell if you'd like at 812-987-1597

Thank's Glen, as my kid's would say "Your the bomb" right on my friend, I can't believe how smooth that went. I gave Brian a call right after I spoke to you this morning and within an hour, everything was set. He told me I might have to be alittle patient, that your a very bizzy man, but thats ok with me. I feel privledged to have a chance not only to own a diamond but to have one of the best set it up for me. thank's again and I look forward to talking with you again soon and hopefully watch you set up my 50th birthday present to myself. thx again, Rich Alexander
