HRD Lecture Series hosts delegates from Seoul National University


"Three-cushion billiards of SOJT in Korea: Government - Industry - University Cooperation."

The Spring 2012 Human Resources Development lecture series and the HRD Community of Scholars student organization hosted a delegation from Seoul National University this week. Dr. Chan Lee gave a presentation on February 28th, titled, "Three-cushion billiards of SOJT in Korea: Government - Industry - University Cooperation." Dr. Lee was accompanied by several doctoral and master's students from Seoul National University.

No USBA board member attended. I did ask the University for a video of the lecture or a copy of any paper or materials distributed at the lecture. I have not received a response to my request. I plan to follow up later this week.

The host sent me an email. The paper was not about billiards in any sense. The paper used a billiard analogy in explaining a three-part coordination among industry, government and academia.

Thank Andy for the info. You Never know... University of Illinois is one university that still have 3C table in the student recreation/game room.
