that a new record was set for most users online at once?

I copied this from the bottom of the main forum page.........
Most users ever online was 245, 01-13-2006 at 03:05 PM.

The DCC is a very powerful event. It had everyone(that was not there) glued to their computers.
. I was glad to be able to say that I was glued to mine. If I had not have been I would not have been able to see Efren playing 1pocket flawlessly.

Does anyone recall what the previous record was? Mike?

Yep, it was the US Open which is only fitting. The Open and the Derby are two of the biggest events and each day the member list grows. I wouldn't be surprised to see the record breaking members online always be the Open and Derby. I'm just very happy and fortunate to have been in attendance at both events this yr. The only tourney that I really wanted to go to and wasn't able to make was Glass City. I'll get there next yr Tom!

IMO, alot of why this site continues to grow is becase of the site owners. Someday, maybe sometime soon, people like Mike can be recognized for there dedication to this site and to pool in general. I've never met the guy but it obviously takes alot to run a site as consistently successful as AZB.
