I found 2 cues in a pawn shop in Calgary. One is a Dufferin Silver Edition anniversary, the other looks exactly the same but maple instead of ash. If anyone has a website for me to upload, i would like to upload some pictures. I just needed a snooker cue pretty bad and i figured i could use a maple shaft for it as well. What would you guys pay for these? I'll let you know what i think i 'stole' them for after a few responses.

PS. Hey Celtic,
If you wish you had of found these cues first.

I found a Brunswick Trophy in a pawn shop in Kelowna for $50. The shaft was warped and useless but the butt was in surprisingly good shape and still had the original decal. I got a new shaft built for it and had some small work done, total cost of the cue was $150 all in and I sold it for $400 easily.

You get things from my back yard, i come to yours :D

Depends on what you paid. The Brunswick Trophy was a old cue, 40+ years old easy. That Dufferin is not going to pull $400 from anyone, but if you needed a good snooker cue that should work. One thing about Calgary, there are a ton of really good pool players there and therefore the pawn shops usually dont hold those good deals for long, and alot of the shops know what is good and whats not and the people getting rid of a good cue are likely to go to the shops in the know so they get closer to real value on a good cue.

While my deal was nowhere near your deal, i think i got a damn fine deal. i paid $30 each and they are in pretty good shape. The brunswick trophy cue was a friggin steal though, wish i had of been to that pawn shop.
