Did Max Eberle and Ernesto D. Play in the Open?

Just curious if Max Eberle and Ernesto made it to the Open? I know they had a Riverside tournament the night before, so I'm curious if that prevented them from going?
 
I doubt it LT.
First Ernesto travels with Oscar. Oscar is in college now and he can't miss a week of school. Shooters' tourney was a much better proposition anyway. They had a calcutta as well.
Max opted to stay partly due to the terror alert chaos at LAX.
They didn't even know if the Shooters' tourney would end on Sunday night or Monday.
 
Oscar told me a few weeks ago that him and his dad were both going to play in the open, but with the riverside tournament, I can't see how they made it. I might as well call him tomorrow and see lol. That would suck if I were to call him while he were down on a shot in a match AT the open, LOL.
