He is absolutely amazing. New improvements today that just makes it amazing. If you have room for a projector, you've got to call Robin Dreyer. ICATS systems. This is the new training system for today.

The system is pretty awesome. The initial cost might seem high, but the ease of use is amazing. Robin talked me thru the entire installation and setup over the phone in about 15 minutes. I used it to setup my normal practice routines, and now I can load up whatever drill I want to practice without having to put down dots/marks. The grid is AMAZING for practice and layouts.

You can't see the end mounted projector here above the TV, but it is ceiling mounted at the end.

The table is a 9' Brunswick Anniversary (Mark Gregory), and the projector wall is 6' away from the end rail and the ceiling height is 8'.

Is that a short-throw projector?

I just picked up a used one of these. It definitely gives me motivation to practice. I had to side mount the projector because of my space. It works great. It probably won't fix my game. (Note this picture was not calibrated properly.)

Now Robin has a ceiling mounted projector at the side pocket. I saw this when I was up there taking lessons. New systems should take this projector. It makes everything on the table perfectly clear from end to end. We've got the 9 foot table with the projector at the end. That is good enough for us.
Right now, I'm working on the "rotation lesson", where Robin starts out at 3 balls for about 7 sequences and then 4 ball, and so on, and goes up to 10 balls. Each shot shows where the cue ball must land for the run out sequence. Great practice! Teaches one to hit the CB correctly, right english, right speed and gives the proper angle for the next shot. Fantastic training. This will teach one to get the proper angle to get shape on the next ball and shape on the next.

Do you have a recommendation for a cheap projector? I know the good mainstream brands but since I’m only using it for drills and not TV, I assume a cheap one can do the job.
