Different cue ball for a set

In my room they use Brunswick Centennials, one of the sets for some reason is missing a cue ball. Since the owner is so great with the pool players and kids that go in, I'd like to buy him a replacement.

If I get the Aramith "measles" ball, will it play a lot different? I think it's an easier ball to move around than the Centennial cue ball, not sure how much of an effect it would have. Will it be bad to do? I would get a real Centennial but I kinda like how the measles spins with the dots. Yes, I'm shallow But on the other hand, I don't want to create some bizaro set of balls that play oddly. Anyone use a mis-matched set with a different cue ball? Does it play OK?

just happen to have 1 genuine brunswick blue micro circle centennial cue bal, circa 2009.

dont know anything about measle cue ball, never used them

I have a set of Brunswick Centennials, and I use the measles, red dot, and blue circle with. They all play a little different, but none are bizarre or wildly out of order by any stretch.

It depends on how old and used the set of balls are, play will wear down the balls so they become a little smaller and lighter. If they get a lot of use and are pretty old, every cueball will play heavier, even a new blue circle which comes with the set. The measles ball will play the heaviest regardless of age, but when paired w/a brand new set of centennials, the difference is less. Even a red circle if new and the balls are old, it will play heavier.
