Different Game rules

I have a class project due for my programming class, and one idea I have starts off with compiling a table with the major differences between the various pool rules.

The purpose is to help people agree on ahead of time, which rulebook to consult. I was inspired because I had two people come up to me and asked to rule whether making the 8-ball on the break was loss of game. I knew of APA and BCA rules, and told them that it depends on which rules they decided beforehand. They had no clue, so I explained the major differences of the two different rules. Going forward, they decided to stick with APA rules, as it was closer to what they knew as house rules.

For example, scratching on the 8-ball
According to APA 8-ball rule 10.e its considered loss of game.
BCA, aka World Standardized Rule, 4.19 its not.

Making the 8-ball on the break
BCA, no loss of game, no win, simply re-rack, rule 4.8
APA, Win, unless the player scratches, then its a game loss. rule 4.c

I know of of BCA, aka World Standardized Rules, and APA (American Pool Players). What other governing bodies and rules should I be aware?

Thank you in advance for reading this posting.
Henry
