Dime shaped tip *is* better!

Is their testing different or do they just publish more results?

Edit: Gregg: See what Mr. Garcia just did? He said that Platinum's testing is better and more accurate, does he have a basis for this statement or is he just saying that because his shaft tested the hightest? Guess we will find out if/when he replies.

Tighter= accuracy and explanation of results

I guess I'd like Shane and others to comment on their testing. At a little better than a 12" pivot point for a 314, I'd say that something's flawed in the testing method. There isn't a 314 that I've tried that didn't have a pivot point of over 30"

Agreed

That very well might be the bottom line. I think many things we talk about on this and other forums aren't all that critical to playing the game, but, on the other hand, you can never have too much knowledge however mundane that knowledge might be.

I agree with your last post completely... in pool knowledge is power! Thanks for the good posts.

Ah, sweet, what do you mean by tighter?

Gregg: I understand what you are saying, but that rule applies to everything that anyone wants to sell. It bothers me to no end that people will knock other people but not say anything constructive to help an argument. It's just "this is bad, that is bad", not "maybe if we tried this or that it might be better".

I am not knocking anything or anybody, I am simply stating to be leary of everything you read or see, especially written by some guy on a message board who may have no clue what they are talking about (and yes I am very much including myself into this equation).
