Hey Guys,
When you describe the materials used in your cues, do you feel it is necessary to describe them as what they real are, for instance, Malachite. I use the Man-Made Malachite called "Tru-Stone" Malachite. When I describe it when selling my caps, I always state "Tru-Stone" Malachite, instead if just Malachite, so not to "mislead" the customer..
Are we liable for false advertising if it was not real Malachite.. Can I just state "Ivory", instead of putting "Alternative Ivory"? Or, is this False Advertising??? I don't want to do the "Can Of Worms" thing... But......

I would think that listing "Malachite" would be good enough as I would guess 99%+ of cues that have Malachite in them contain the synthetic material. In the case of ivory, I'd list real ivory as just that: "real ivory" and any synthetic ivory as "synthetic", just to avoid any confusion.
