do the Europeans have more opportunities

I was wondering if there are more tournaments, or action in Europe, so their players
can stay in action more than here in the U. S. Years ago there was so much action
and some kind of tournament going on daily. All of the top players were playing
something every day if they weren't traveling to a tournament or action spot. In Dallas
back then, quite a few top players came and stayed for extended periods of time,
Buddy, Louie, Greg Stevens, SJD, Jack Terry, and on and on. They were playing tough
action every day. Either another champion or giving up the nuts to a shortstop and
trying to out run it. And Houston had a slew of them also as did almost all the big
cities. They could, and would play 2, 3 days non stop. Now other than a challenge
match, action at the Derby, and the few big tournaments, do they have a chance to
play tough action on a regular basis ?. If you don't play tough action almost daily, short
races are really hard. From what I have seen it looks like the the players in the Philippines
are in action a lot there. If the action in Europe is the the same as here then what is
the problem.

If count 7 ft tourneys, US definitely has more tourneys. Europe has some sort of tour but fewer tourneys but more sadly, Euro tours pay peanuts compared to US. Darren alluded to this in ABR interview some time ago :)
