Do you own more than one table?

Try shortening up your bridge. Using a normal length (for a 9 footer) bridge will sometimes cause you to overstroke position on the barbox, and continually getting out of line and having to come with tougher shots works negatively on your confidence.

Try imagining your "barbox" stroke" as a smaller, more compact version of your "big table stroke". Hope this helps..

thanks for the tip russ ill give it a shot tonight.

I've got an 8' table, would love to add a bar box. I could probably put it in the garage but I'd want them both in the same room. So, as previously state here, maybe the next house. :)

I'm fortunate to have the space & resources to have 2 tables.
I have a 9' Brunswick Montebello with the standard pockets, as of now. When I get it reclothed I'm hoping to add the rail extenders. But I'll see. I also have a 7' Valley barbox that I had thicker rubber facings added. The corners are approximately 3 7/8" and the sides are 3 5/8". There tough and especially running a ball down the rail. I use it mostly just for trying exact position. I don't use them as much as I should. But oh well.
Maybe one of these days I'll know what I'm doing.

I'm in the market for a 7' Valley, but I want the specs similar to what I play on in the bars...even if it means buckets. I want to know what I can and can't get away with as far as aiming. I will still focus on aiming for the center of the pocket, unless I need to cheat it.
