Do you think LD shafts should come in 12.25 mm too?

Do you think LD Shaft manufacturers should sell 12.25mm shafts as a standard too?

Most LD shafts manufacturers only sells 12.75 and 11.75 shafts. Do you think there should come in kind of "Medium" diameter at 12.25mm? Would you buy it?

I once tried a predator shaft tapered down to 12.5 and I thought it played terrible. Maybe there is a science to keeping it within those sizes or maybe not. Would be interested to hear this from a LD shaft maker.

ok with that

I like a 12.5 mm shaft that has a extended 18" taper on a playing cue. My Buddy out shoots me most all the time and he likes a 12.75. Others use a 13mm and I know 3 or 4 others who like a 11.75mm. I think a good player is flexible and adaptable. Several LD shafts can be retapered and made to a smaller diamater. A guy at Seyberts said they had Predator make them up some larger diamater Z2 shafts with an extended taper, but they are not advertised on their web site, go figure.

I ordered my ld shaft to my specs, not was available by the major manufacturers. It took a little longer to get, but plays better than the ob and predators I've played with.
You also have the option of having the shaft turned down to your desired thickness and taper from any good cue repair man.
