I was wondering how many TDs use software to run their tournaments. I am refering to tournaments from 16 to 128 players. This is the software I am talking about.

Well, I downloaded it and ran a 16 player double elimination tournament.

1) Calculator does not allow for decimal places. I paid out 4 places, and the money for player 4 did not transfer from calculator to payout table.
2) Does not have handicapping, but does record number of games won.
3) Biggie -> Does not have code for a Calcutta (player auction pot).
4) No break pot code.
5) Need brackets for 8 players. (lots of local tourneys are just 8 players).
6) Does not retain players in a database for further use.
7) How much is it?

I believe the newest version 3 due to come out will support up to 128 player bracket. It does include a database for players. Runs calcuttas, etc.

Oh the good thing is the price. Approx $40 to register.

I use Ingenpool as well, and have been using it for about 5 years. The new version is supposed to support 128 players, but the current version only supports up to 64 players.

I think 30 day free trial will more than tell you if this is the software for your needs. As other posters in this thread have said, there is a bigger and more indepth software available for your use. NoHo is $19.95 and INGENPOOL is $40.00. The best of both worlds.
