does anyone know a cue maker who would use wood from someone else?

Absolutely love this cue.

I'm able to get some really fine cue wood from a maker who isn't building anymore but I'm not sure who is willing to work with a wood they've probably never worked with...

I already sent one email out but I've got a strong sense this might be a harder search than I want it to be.

I'm not asking for anything fancy at all with it, its going to be two woods, one in the butt and forearm, and the other as the handle. If they don't object to it I wouldn't mind sourcing a specific ivory for the joint but I know I'd be asking a bit much there.

Several, but work with them.

The only way I would do it is if you sell me the wood and release all claims to it. Then I would build a cue to your specs out of that wood and you pay me when I am finished. This way is simple and trouble free.

When I lived in Korea I searched online for one of a kind pieces of wood for my cue. I contacted Pete Omen found the wood I liked and had it shipped to his shop, he graciously adjusted the price due to the fact I was providing the materials (assuming he could work with them when they got there). Couldn't have been happier with they way it came out.
