I am curious if anyone here knows the price range of David Barber cues? Are they good quality cues? I got offered an even trade on my Meucci Originals 88-2 and a no logo Schon shaft (that I have no use for, without having a Schon cue to use it with) for this really old looking David Barber custom cue. It has 4 points with veneers, and white windows in the butt (but I do not think they are ivory). The butt is warped (has a pretty bad roll out in the joint), but for some strange reason, the tip does not leave the table when the cue is rolled together with the shaft. This seems strange to me. I would think that the shaft would roll out really bad to with the butt attached (since the butt rolls out really bad), but the cue does not seem to be all that warped when rolled together (just a roll out in the middle, with the tip not leaving the table). Anyways, does the cue sound to be pretty worthless (with the bad roll out in the butt), or would the cue still have value? The shaft appears to be an ld shaft, because I see what looks like twice as many splices (or what ever they are called) as a Predator shaft. Very thin pieces of wood glued together all the way up the shaft. It is very cool looking. Looks like at least 20 pieces of wood spliced together (if I am saying that correctly). Anyways, I would like to hear some opinions about Barber cues, and what the warped cue would be worth (if anything, to most players in the market for one). Thanks.
