Does anyone remember the prices of Mezz cues when the 1st came out?

So you think I am the type of person who would pretty much do anything to get sympathy (like to go as far as killing a baby)? That is just crazy. You must think I am really crazy, or really very stupid (or both). How can you lay these judgments on a person who you do not personally know, or have even made enough acquaintances with to make your own opinion about that type of judgement? That is a pretty harsh judgement, to say to a person that you do not know, and completely untrue (in my case). And I do not get off on trying to get certain types of replies out of people, and I am not trying to be a troll. Can you be more specific as to what is wrong with my questions? I would like to understand your way of thinking. I do not understand why my questions are looked at as so stupid. These are just honest curiosities that I have (about Mezz cues for example). That is all.

I also wish that people would stop bringing up the past, from years ago.
 
Perhaps try and research answers to your questions before you ask them. And ask maybe 1-2 questions in a more concise manner, while sharing some of the information and/or photos that you've been able to find.

As to your thread, I can't help you, I'm sure they're out there. Whoever owns them probably values them more than they're worth. I doubt they made any Bushka style cues. You could probably email Mezz and ask if they have any old catalogues.

Rare's no good. Neither is medium or medium-rare, for that matter. I really do prefer my cues (or my cue photos) to be well done. :wink:

Justin, I'm one of those lurkers you're talking about. I check out AZB almost every day, but very seldom bother to sign in or post. For me, it's usually entertaining and sometimes informative.

Personally I don't find your posts to be particularly stupid or offensive. In fact, if I ignore the negative comments coming from the usual suspects that troll your posts, I find them to be just fine for entertainment value and sometimes I even get some useful information out of them. They're probably about average for the main forum as a whole. I think there are a lot of AZB members that use the forum just as I do, and I'm guessing that's why you have a lot of lurkers on your posts.

As far as I'm concerned you should just disregard the trolls and post whatever you want. Your posts aren't the only ones these people feel they need to trash, so I suspect it's their own issues that lead them to reply the way they do, rather any any issues of yours. After all, if they really feel your posts are a waste of time, why are they wasting their time on them?

Anyway, just know that at least some AZB members find value in your contributions.

My screen name is my real name and my city (Beloit, WI) is clearly shown on my posts. Anybody with half a brain could Google my name with my city and state and see exactly who I am.

Also, I've been a member here for 2 or 3 years now, and according to his profile Justin's been around here for nearly 7. In all that time I have never posted on one of his threads, nor has he ever posted on mine. Sure sounds like multiple screen IDs..... yeah, right.

Maybe you should know something about what you're talking about before you start spreading lies and innuendo. As far as I know a person could get booted off the site for having multiple identities, so I take your accusations seriously.

If I had another user ID on this forum, then why would I continue using this same old one that I have been using since I think around 2010? I have thought about creating a new ID, but like you said, I can't change the way I word my sentences, so that would probably be pointless (to create a new user ID on here, unless I were to get banned by a mod).

Thanks for the really nice reply. I wish that more lurkers (the friendly ones) would chime in. Mostly only the senior AZB crowd ever reply to my threads. It is usually the same group of guys, and rarely any new ones. I should know better, and stop asking questions.

Yeah, I have been here for around 7 years (and this is the only user ID that I have ever created), and I was never a lurker before then. I never even knew about AZ billiards before 2010.

This is not not a friendly place, for the most part. It is not common for me to get nice, or friendly replies to my posts, and it is very rare that anyone would ever be on my side, or stick up for me in any way. If they see a post that they think is stupid or funny, then they will just gang up on you, and turn your thread into a big joke. That is just the way this place is. This forum consists of a group of regulars, and they are a pretty tight nit group (who are friendly to each other). I am like an outsider that they just love to pick on, and make fun of.
 
1999 Mezz Cues UJ-10 and Break/Jump BJ-B

All of 20 Minutes on the Web and I gathered all this info.....
I own the two Cues shown.
Got them for $300. Some storage nicks from the sloppy owner.
They play real nice.

UJ-10 was 87,300 Yen in 1999. $785 ($1,100 in 2017 Dollars)
BJ-B was 36,750 Yen in 1999. $330 ($473 in 2017 Dollars).
