Does the wrap make a difference?

I have a standard linen wrap on my cue. I have a loose grip and I notice that my hand slips slightly especially when I shoot with more force. I don't know if this is neccessarily a bad thing, I just know it happens.

I'm wondering if a different type of wrap, like leather for instance, would have.

Or is your hand supposed to slip a little?

I also have linen but I will probably change to leather as soon as I can find a soft smooth leather. So far no luck.

Anyway I think it is just preference. If you notice pros play with a variety including no wrap at all.
